Doctavan and MavenMule booth at Dreamforce 2026

In September, Dragan Vujnović (CEO), Ivan Tadić (CTO) and I flew to San Francisco for Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce's flagship event, held at the Moscone Center from September 15 to 17. This time we didn't come only to listen. Maven Mule and Doctavian were there as Navigator sponsors, with our own booth (#124) in the Campground, three days on the floor and more conversations than any of us could count. It was also my first Dreamforce, so now that the dust has settled, here is a cold-headed look at why we went and what we brought back.

Why We Went

Dreamforce is where the Salesforce ecosystem gathers in one place: customers, partners, product teams and the people shaping the roadmap. For a company that is both an ISV and a consulting partner, that is hard to beat. Our objectives were clear:
Put Doctavian in front of the ecosystem: We launched Doctavian, our document operations platform, in August, and Dreamforce was the place to show the Salesforce world what agentic document workflows look like in practice.
Meet partners and clients face to face: Existing relationships, new ones, and the ones that only happen when you are standing in the same hall for three days.
Read the market: Understand where the ecosystem is moving, what customers are asking for right now, and how that matches what we are building and delivering.

Highlights & Takeaways

The Agentic Enterprise, with a reality check: AI, agents and automation were everywhere — on stage, in the Campground and in every conversation. What stood out, though, is how pragmatic the demand has become. Customers are no longer asking whether to use agents; they are asking where an agent actually makes sense, what it needs underneath to work reliably, and what the return is. That is exactly the conversation we like to have, and it confirms how we approach implementations: outcome first, technology second.
Doctavian in the Campground: Our demo showed Doctavian integrated with Slack and Claude: generate, sign and deliver a quote, an invoice or a contract from a chat window, without ever leaving it. The reactions confirmed what Ivan summed up on day two — Doctavian does exactly what the agentic enterprise era asks for. Document operations are a natural first workload for agents: high-volume, rule-bound and painful to do by hand.
Fruitful conversations: The booth was busy, but the most valuable moments were the longer talks with partners and clients, existing and new, about their roadmaps, their constraints and where Maven Mule and Doctavian fit. "Fruitful doesn't begin to cover it," as Dragan put it.
An ecosystem that keeps expanding: Between Slack, Claude and agents orchestrating work across systems, the Salesforce platform now reaches well beyond the classic CRM screen. For an API-first platform like Doctavian, built to run document operations for every system in the landscape, that is good news. We're here for it.

Bringing it All Back Home

Dreamforce left us with sore feet and full notebooks. The follow-ups started the moment we landed back in Croatia: continuing the conversations we opened at the booth, feeding what we heard into the Doctavian roadmap, and sharpening how we scope AI and agent work for our clients so it lands where it makes sense.

Thank you, Salesforce, for having Maven Mule and Doctavian as Navigator sponsors, and thank you to everyone who stopped by booth 124, saw the demo and talked agentic document workflows with us. If we didn't get to meet in San Francisco, you can reach us here.

What an unforgettable first Dreamforce. See you next year!
