Our team went to the Shift conference in Zadar. Here are the takeaways

Last week, Maven Mule’s Marko Vujnovic and Ivan Vilic packed their bags and headed to the coastal city of Zadar, Croatia for Infobip Shift one of the premier developer and tech conferences in Europe. Two action-packed days, dozens of insightful talks, and countless conversations with fellow builders later, they returned energized, inspired, and full of fresh ideas. Highlights & Takeaways

Across both days, the energy in Zadar was electric. From the main stage keynotes to deep-dive technical workshops, a few recurring themes really stood out to us:

AI-Driven Development: Artificial intelligence is moving past the hype phase and becoming a seamless part of every developer's day-to-day toolkit. The focus has shifted from if we use AI to how we integrate it responsibly and effectively.

Developer Experience (DX) First: Building powerful software means nothing if the tools and systems behind it slow teams down. Great DX today is a core competitive advantage.

Building for Scale & Resiliency: Seeing real-world case studies on infrastructure, security, and cloud architectures gave us fresh insights into optimizing our own stack for long-term growth. Beyond the formal presentations, some of our favorite moments happened during informal chats between sessions, exchanging stories with peers, debating technology stacks, and seeing live demos from promising startups.

Bringing it All Back Home
